Section Abbreviations, most states ONLY have one section so the STATE abbreviation is used,
others like California have many sections, plus a few like "Pacific" and "maritime" or "MDC" for Maryland -DC
you need these for some arrl contests,  print them , try to memorize them  ,
if you are using logging software,  chances are the software WILL NOT  log incorrect abbreviations. Then your stuck. If you don't know
best thing is to ask the station your contacting what the abbreviation is ..
